Agenda: Reforming Ethical considerations in the promotion and usage of AI
The Commission on Science and Technology for Development (CSTD) advises member states on how emerging technologies shape global development and how they should be governed responsibly. Under this agenda, delegates will examine how artificial intelligence can be developed and used in ways that protect human rights, prevent discrimination, and promote fairness. Discussions will focus on issues such as algorithmic bias, transparency in AI systems, accountability for misuse, and ensuring that the benefits of AI are shared globally.
